The City of Owensboro acquired the architectural design services of RBS Design Group for the design and development of Waymond Morris Park.

This project involved converting 57 acres of virgin agricultural land into a community park for the citizens of Owensboro and Daviess County. The new park features four football fields for the youth league, a large ten acre lake and allows for future development of  multi-purpose public gathering spaces to serve for lectures, meetings, and family gatherings.

A concession stand was constructed near the football fields and includes a broadcast media booth which is housed in the upper lever. Future plans will allow for the construction of additional media booths.
