New Daviess County Middle School

In Progress

The new 123,000 sq. ft. Daviess County Middle School will be centrally located near Gateways Common in the ever-growing HWY 54 area of Owensboro.

The building will have several unique design features, including a 45,000 sq. ft. enclosed courtyard with turf, 3 classroom wings that will each house 9 classrooms, two science labs, four resource rooms and a computer lab.  The new middle school will also include storm shelter areas. Any newly constructed school, with designs submitted to the Kentucky Department of Education,  after January 1, 2019, are mandated to include the design feature.

The fooball field and track will be located in front of the building and can be viewed from the road.

This project is estimated to be completed in Fall of 2021.
