RBS Works with the City of Dawson Springs on Municipal Buildings Upgrades

The City of Dawson Springs hired RBS Design Group Architecture to provide schematic design services for three of the city’s municipal buildings.

The designs focused on enhancing security in the Police Department, the Fire Department and City Hall Offices. Designs for the Dawson Spring Police Department included creating a secure entrance vestibule which will restrict public access to secured areas of the building. A new secure transaction window will help to enhance the safety of the staff and visitors. A new secure doorway will connect the police station to the fire department.

Designs for the City Hall offices will include a secured entry way that will restrict public access to the corridor that leads to private office and to the fire station. Two new secure transaction windows will be created in the lobby area and the ceramic tile floor in the lobby and restrooms will be removed and replaced.

RBS recently completed the schematic designs for the renovations and upgrades. RBS Design Group has worked with both the City of Dawson Springs and Dawson Springs Independent School District. Currently RBS Design Group is working in Princeton, KY with the Caldwell County Health Department, serving as the architects for the new Caldwell County Health Department.
